Head not lined up?

Discussion started by llast-ffirst1234

I made a topic a bit ago describing that when I export my model from DAZ 3D, during the export process, the head becomes giant and falls out of place. It winds up that way no matter what program I open it in afterward (Blender, 3DS MAX).

I did find a solution for that problem. If I export the character model as an OBJ, then the head doesn't turn giant and fall out of place.

However, another problem occured. I need to replace my character model's head with another one once I get it into Blender. The only way I know how to do this is by using the Transfer Object Data method, which is where the problem comes in. When I do that, it changes the location and rotation, which causes the head to no longer be lined up with the rest of the model. Why is this happening and how can I fix it?

I'm not so familiar with Blender. But maybe on some step is needed to "Apply transform" (or "Reset"? I don't remember exactly). Because every time when I want to perform array, following by curve or something similar in Blender, it drives me mad because all problems are going from origins and pivots that are buried too deep in interface and historically was made by autists for retards.
