computer specs(awful monitor) for 3d model making

Discussion started by lasha-tabatadze-5

) My questions is if it is possible to work on 3d models with very small and not specialized monitor for designers and 3d works.

I am absolutely beginner now and try to find minimal specs for computer to work with blender to create 3d models. I try to find the cheapest solution now. I found some specs about Gpu, Ram and Cpu . I know what I need there but

I have DDR 3 motherboard and very old and bad monitor.

In my opinion the minimum for comfortable work is a 23'' ips/full hd/flicker-free monitor.

As mentioned above 23" will be fine. FullHD off course since we talking about cheapest solutions. To be honest it is most comfortable because 27" requires more eyes move and bigger table to make comfortable gap between eyes and screen(80-100cm). Also monitor have to provide good color range cause otherwise you and your client may see absolutely different picture.
You may look to second-hand monitor. I worked on second-hand Asus vh238h for 7 years 12-17 hours per day and never felt bad, that was lucky $70 purchase for sure.
But before purchasing you need to see reviews and notice good and bad sides of desired model.
