Clothed Characters sexuality

Discussion started by umair-ahmad-uetp

I just have a question.

If i make a character who is clothed. However, underneath the clothes, nude mesh is present and can be obtained by simply deleting the clothes.

So, does that count as nudity or not?

Should I tick the nudity box while uploading or not?

You should seek qualified answer from support about that, but by my understanding "adult content" label is only needed when preview images contains nudity, or gore elements. What you put inside the files, is not regulated so strictly, but it's good practice to mention such things in the description, so the customer would know what to expect from the model.

I've seen some models with full genital anatomy underneath there coths and they weren't labeled as "adult content" so I suppose you're fine. As Lemonade said be just carefull with The preview images.

I seem to recall a lot of discussion about this from years ago too. The adult content warnings are intended mostly for preview images and obvious sexually explicit content. Certainly, you will need to verify that with Support if you are concerned about it, but I would guess, as others have suggested, that as long as your model is covered up in the preview renders and there is no blatant nudity or sexually explicit contents in the scene, you should be fine. An anatomically correct, clothed character isn't really what the adult warnings were intended for I would assume.

If we are incorrect in that assumption, it would be helpful to be made aware of it. I can't seem to find anything in the TOS about it. Obviously, sexual devices or explicit/suggestive content should have a warning, but a clothed character does not fall under that umbrella.
