CGTrader counts my views in model views

The only real benefit the view count has is to help you understand your conversion ratio on any particular model. Let's say most of your models average 1 sale every 100 views and then you notice a model has an average of 1 in 50 views. Clearly, whatever the model is that has the better ratio is where you can focus your efforts on future models or advertising.

No you can't turn that off. You have to subtract you own views. It a smaller annoyance and in the end it dosen't matter much, its the number of sales that count.
