are the models that you find here on the site legal for modelers to build?

hello and good morning, are the models that you find here on the site legal for modelers to build? That means if I search for Volvo and find it here, can I copy the brand? So not the model from the modeler but only the brand. The best example is BMW, you can't copy that.

Regarding applicable copyright law, you should not rely on the opinion of forum users. Send your question here: support@cgtrader.com.
Copyright law strongly depends on the country or region. But downloading something from the Internet or buying something online does not make anything more legal - which is your real question here, I reckon...

It's specifically about a tunnig design on a car, someone from Holland who says he has had the design secured and I'm not allowed to offer it for sale what I've recreated for him in 3D. now I don't know how to deal with it.

If you did a custom job for someone and he/she explicitly forbid you to sell the outcome on the marketplace, then that's the end of the story. It's completely irrelevant if such thing is allowed on cgtrader from copyright perspective, since you don't have any rights to that model anyway, except for your authorship, which don't grant you any commercial rights.

Well, I'll leave that. I have 2 other models I'm working on that don't exist here yet, so I'll take them.
