A question about model rankings!

Discussion started by marpro

So I uploaded different LowPoly Style 1st Gen. Pokemon and I recently fell about one quite curious thing.

I uploaded a LowPoly Pikachu and I wanted to see where this model come up when I search for "Pikachu".
The rank was about 170, so it is one of the last Models shown one the second site, by 120 Models per Site.

The rank of this Pikachu Model was not good but I found one specific detail way more interesting.
My LowPoly Bulbasaur Model I also uploaded is Rank #2 while searching for "Pikachu".
And also my LowPoly Diglett has a better Ranking than Pikachu.

So my question is:
How can a Bulbasaur have a better ranking than Pikachu for the search word "Pikachu"?

By the way, none of these models was sold once and Bulbasaur got 90 Views, 3 Likes while Pikachu got 43 Views and 1 Like.
Both have the same price, upload date, and publishing score of 9.2.

Any ideas?

I didn't even know that 9ish score is possible to achieve for 3d printing items. Certainly not without providing bunch of irrelevant for printing file formats. Anyway, search system and rankings in cgtrader are full of crap. They're so useless and broken for many years, but CGT is not giving a shit about it. Just try to enter some two or more words phrase into cgtrader's search bar and do the same at turbosquid... WHOA, be amazed!!!

Haha, just searched for "Pikachu LowPoly" because the model is a Pikachu in LowPoly Style... But cgtrader than searched not for the word "LowPoly", it searched which model has checked the checkbox "LowPoly" but while 3D-Printing models don't have this checkbox they wouldn't appear in that search..... Thanks, Cgtrader -_-
