3D Jobs - bidding problem

Discussion started by rusty-hawk

I am the only one who thinks cgtrader.com exaggerate with the commissions?

For example I want to bid for a 3D Job, I want for my work $1000 but also cgtrader.com want a share, nothing wrong with this but when the share is 50% I think it's to much.

Hi there,

Most of the Jobs are paid accordingly to your earned reputation score and royalty rate. However, in this case, CGTrader's 3D jobs term of use indicate that:

CGTrader will detect Buyer’s location and charge VAT which is applied in particular country. VAT will be deducted from the purchase price and transmitted to local authorities using MOSS system. CGTrader will calculate and pay royalties to Designer after VAT deduction and payment processing costs.

CGTrader’s fee will be the remaining amount after deducting the Designer’s fee (which is based on the Designer’s reputation level) and VAT from the fee paid by Buyer upon conclusion of the Contract.

Regards,
Mantas
