3D Fashion Design software for a beginner in 3D?

Discussion started by harrykane140693

I've come up with lots of designs for a clothing brand I am starting up, and I want to create my designs digitally and in 3D (instead of generic style psd mockups), so I can adjust very particular adjustments in the garments I am creating. I'm totally new to 3D design, and have only really worked with photoshop and illustrator, so i'm after a fairly simple software but one that will create fairly realistic and adjustable fashion. I've researched into Optitex and Marvellous Designer, but I am unsure of what they will be able to produce in terms of more of a streetwear category of fashion. For example, I want to create a hoodie but adjust the colour and texture of the sides, instead of just placing a print or embroidered design on a plain, wholesale jumper. If there are any links to tutorials of how to learn to use these programs for beginners, these would be appreciated too. I was also curious if there are any sorts of 3D templates I can download and customise (a hoodie for example) thanks.
