21 Free Models

Discussion started by aytacg26

After a while, I realized that there will be no demand to my models and when I check most of the awesome and very proffessional models in site, I started to think that my models will never have any demand. For this reason, instead of challenging with proffessionals, I prefer to left the arena for them and then decided to share my work for free. Hope you like them and will be happy to hear your comments to understand, why my models does not seem as good as the ones which we can call them almost professional (I am not asking, why they do not seem professional because from now on, I believe that I need too much time of work to create professional models.). In fact, I can say that I gave up and have no expactation from 3D modelling anymore.

Thanks a lot and hope you like my models.

Hey buddy you have some very nice blendfiles there, good for rendering and so far I can say all looks professional. Unfortunately blender is not the the preferred standard, but just give it some time, things will change ;) . Just convert your blends to fbx, obj and dae or other 3d-formats, the more 3d-formats you have the higher the possibility is sale something. And if a 3d-format does not works well, the customer will tells you, you find a solution and
learn something about how to export it correctly (true story) :)

there are not only great professional model that sell here, your models are quite salable as they are of good quality.
The only reason (according to me) that you don't realize sales is because all your models are made with Blender.
you should export your objects into exchange formats (Obj, 3ds and FBX) and add them to your format list for all your models.
I am confident that you will make sales

Yes I would agree with the others, your models are good and you just need compatible file formats. I have just tried to download your cleaning products to look closer but the downloads did not work. I am not sure if this to do with your uploads or if it is a fault with the website. Another thing if you are fairly new you need to be patient. It was a good while before I first sold anything but as my model portfolio slowly builds up I have noticed more models gives you more chance of sales.

regarding to download, it seems there is no problem with zip file, may be it was because of a connection problem or may be something similar.

Don't give up, I looked at your models and they are all well done. Don't take sales as an indication of your success as a 3d modeler, you need lots of models to be successful. If you've ever gone into a store, chances are they sold more there than 20 items. You're not making these models for anyone in particular, If you don't have what they want, they will go else where. When you start racking up models into your inventory and have tons, you will start to see that people find things they want when they stop in to check out your store, and you will then see your sales increase.

That's what I've seen in my experience - your models are well done, they will sell. Now stop giving them away and get back on the horse.

Aytac, I tried again and the download worked fine and the cleaning models did have different formats. However if you are going to supply compatible formats you will need to test them as the models in these formats needed various fixes. You can download free model viewers, Autodesk FBX Review or Clockstone FBX Viewer. Both allow you to view a variety of formats including fbx, obj and 3ds. This will allow you to test the other formats otherwise you could have some unhappy customers especially if they are paid models.
