Silk filament help... Please?

does anyone know how to make silk filament work? I've done all the recommendations for the speed and temperatures for the bed and nozzle. I even do baby steps when the machine is building the raft and supports. the last thing I tried was a ring I KNOW should work, but it didn't print out right and just crumbled in my hands when I tested it's strength.

First, check to see if the filament is compromised by bending it 180 degrees onto itself. It "should" not break, but stretch. If it breaks either there is moisture damage or perhaps the filament could be bad. You may be able to dry the filament out using a filament dryer, however, unless you have a humidity problem in your house, I find that this is a waste of money. There are numerous manufacturers of silk filament. Perhaps change brands.
I was a staunch user of CCTREE filament until they changed the recipe. After they did, I had nothing but problems and hot end issues. I went through 2 hot ends until I found out that CCTREE filament was to blame.
I switched over to ANYCUBIC filament and haven't had a problem since.
