Some interesting ideas design-wise, but the geometry and textures needs a lot of work. For geometry, you could start by beveling your edges, adding some greebles and nurnies and getting a proper UV unwrapping for better textures. For texturing, you could vary the materials between the barrels and other parts, add some lights, some rust, maybe some more details with a simple normal maps such as rivets or panels...
Just my 2 cents, of course.
