Check number of subdivisions before apply and export to STL. And don't use smooth shading if you make model for print or CNC, because smooth shading not shows real mesh.

I am pleased to announce the creation of my-- 3D Label -- ( ongoing ) and present
-- > my first model < --l ( version 1 )
it's only the beginning ..
but with the export .stl smoothing is not visible to the printable model ... an idea pls ?

so subdivide a max ( without smooth shading ) is the solution , if i understand ..
