It is an idea. I am not sure it is an idea that would catch on.
It is not really following the rules of how things should be that gives you the best experiences to become better and wiser, it is seeing and experiencing things like this to learn better illusions and possibilities. If people don't like it then it is only be because it is a good experience for you and nobody else gets it. Keep playing to find great things hidden from everyone else, that stays on the beaten path.
