I see you still have some miles to go so keep working the skills.
You also made some models that have some steep competition, especially the furniture is in heavily overcrowded category, don't be discouraged if you experience hard times selling current offerings but keep working on it and improve.

My advice would also be, try and make things that are not there jet or things that are there but you feel you can bring something better or more complete/detailed or differentiate in the designs.

Its not that strait forward, when you have similar models in same price range you clearly have to bring something ells, otherwise make it more appealing having lower pricing or whatever.

To give you some perspective;
I’m a freelance artist and this sort of things are very low expenses in commercial projects.
I would pay 100 dollars with no hesitation if I see good stuff and needed it for a project so lower pricing is not really that important. Those last two mentioned artist are losing money, they could easily ask 55 dollars or more but the problem is they are undercutting each other and they both lose, if they where wise they contact each other and agree to set it to 55 dollars or something in that range because those are the models that the professionals will be buying. If I where looking for a model and that other one would not be there and that great one would cost 100 I would pay 100 no hesitation, I could not do that work for less and will be able to make good profit on it.
On the other hand you cannot ask 100 dollars for a model a professional can do himself in one hour unless its a very good design so that he basically pays for the license to use that design.

There are lots of factors involved in buyer sentiment, for example renders are also very important, but also overall quality of your portfolio can influence a buyer. Also providing good essential information about what they are getting is very important, in this regard the description area is your chance to connect with a buyer and gain his trust. This trust will not be earned with irrelevant remarks like “I made this model myself”, etc. Those type of things have no information value at all and can work adversely.

On a side note I think you need to address the issue with intersecting geometry on the drone model, its visible in your renders and it will kill your credibility also for your other work. You probably have a bit to few edge loops on the outside of the landing gear and thus after mesh smoothing the outer surface smooths more and intersects the inside surface.

That depends what type of model it is but most models do need UV mapping, for example a car body in most cases just has a car paint material so no UV mapping needed, but when its a racing car then it probably has lots of stickers from the sponsors, in that case it would need UV mapping in order to add those sticker/textures to the car body.

In the case of your drone it would probable be ok providing it with no UV mapping but providing more features could always improve appeal to wider audience, maybe someone would like to add camouflage or something, hoe knows?

You could for example add only UV to the big most important areas for example the top and bottom body parts, just planar mapping them and lay those two UV islands next to each other in the texture space and move the rest of the faces somewhere to empty texture space. Avoid adding a brand name of the model because your licensee will downgrade to editorial and then sale drops dramatically.

Sorry, I’m not into interior design,
from time to time I react to someone in the forum (depends) and usually the topic is about things related to selling 3D or helping out on technical problems if possible.

About becoming a good 3D content creator in general many things can be said, however I’m not going to get involved with teaching. What I can quickly say is that the first part of it is getting to know the fundamentals (modeling, generating texture coordinates, texturing, creating realistic materials, lighting, rendering, etc.)

Its important to get deep into the fundamentals of these stages and the corresponding tools and built a strong technical foundation, otherwise ones work will always get limited by a limited foundation.

As the saying goo's, if one can only use a hammer then he approaches everything like a nail.

If strong technical foundation is there then one can move on and start looking at 3D work he deems of very high standards and see if he can reach those levels, the best work is made by people that have strong fundamentals in place.

So what I advice you is to get deeper into the fundamentals because your work for now gets dictated by limitations on that part and it makes you keep producing content having same visible limitations (texture trenching because of bad UV’s, use of non tillable textures, basic flat materials, basic lighting, etc.)

I know all that technical stuff can be hard to digest in beginning but when you pull yourself trough, it will bring your work to new levels.
