Because I make low poly models, just like games. It's much easier and doesn't take too much time, as well as being easy to modify. The downside is that it doesn't look good and it's not even good in rendering.
And also I don't use 3ds max or Autocad or even solidworks in designing, I use other less powerful programs with no rendering effects or what so ever. It starts by drawing the major lines of the car using the blueprints and then connecting these lines by "triangles", depending on their size would change the quality of the model. In case of this Ferrari GTC4 Lusso. I wasn't able to find any blueprints for it, So I got the blueprints from its predecessor "Ferrari FF" and brought some pics of the new car "GTC4" and used only my eyes to try and get the real prespective design of it, That's how I made.
