type of file is not set when upload model

I hope will be resolved soon.

When it will be available the ability to remove unwanted correspondence in account ?

I've noticed new models posted up as late as yesterday have had this problem resolved as their files are labeled with the correct file types. However mine are still not working =(

I've tried editing the product as well as deleting it and re-uploading it.

Annoying that this bug is still hanging around. A big part of looking at a product is knowing it fits their files needs =(

Having the same problem with the models format type being listed as "other" instead of what I have selected. Have tried numerous times to edit these fields but my selections are never being saved. This problem needs to be fixed straight away.

24 hours later and still no luck for me.

I would like to address an example here - https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/vehicle/industrial/old-tractor-model-with-dirty-textures-and-controllers -

This model is new, uploaded today and has the correct file formats displayed. I uploaded a new model 5 minutes ago and mine are still not showing.

Seems the problem is still active on my end =(

Nothing has changed for me. Software fields still not holding selections.

Not fixed yet !

Not only old issues are not fixed, but there's new ones appears constantly. I uploaded model few minutes ago and didn't receive points for that. Also, in product description it is showing that model has been uploaded 5 days ago!

CGTrader should hire programmer who knows what he's doing, really... :[

It seems like problem with messed up thumbnails is fixed too! I edited few products and first thumbnail is showing as it should. Good job on that!

Extension native file works but ,,the version software,, ..no ! :(

Just uploaded a new model, and the file extensions have failed again. Don't tell me this is happening again =(

On top of that new bugs keep appearing - new topics posted in the forum doesn't appear in dashboard anymore.

Thank you for the update! We're already looking at these problems. Lehninger3d - it seems like only renderer type isn't showing - we haven't found additional file extension bugs after the fix.

LemonadeCG, we'll take a look at this as well.

I uploaded 2 new collections today & had an issue with it keeping the file extensions as well as the render type. Both issues come up. Tried updating the product and still didn't recall and save the file extension type =/

I'll try again later tonight to update again..

Just a reminder - bug with no points for new product upload and wrong publishing date is still present. Will it ever be fixed?

We've seen that the 'wrong' publishing date shows the date when upload draft was started - our development team will soon configure it to show the date when the product was uploaded.

Regarding the points - it will require a bit more research to find out exactly when the points are not given for the uploaded product - it's on the list as well and will definitely be dealt with.

New bug. I published new model today and although i uploaded a bunch of preview images, none of them shows in model description. And i can't edit my products, because all regular 3d models are not accessible from my products page anymore. Only 3d print products are editable.
