Character animations.Separate or one big merged file?

Hi,mates.

I'm going to update soon my animated character package on CGT.

The problem is that I'm not sure what is better way to provide animations to customers.

Currently the package has one big file with all animations merged inside,although initialy I work on each animation as a separate file.

Merging them in one file takes a looong time and work,setting up,resolving issues etc.

The question is what is easier and better for handling for the "end user"?

I know that in most "big" game engines the right workflow is separate file for each animation.

So,separate or merge?What do you think?
