Model includes 3 different sizes of helmet but only 1 size of visor and faceplate. There's also no text file to tell what size the faceplate and visor are relative to the three helmet sizes. It's easy enough to scale if the size of these items was included in their file name, but they aren't. Also, the visor and faceplate files are still in .obj format instead of .3mf or .stl. This looks like incomplete work. That being said, for those savvy enough to print them, they look great, so overall my experience is positive.

This helmet came highly recommended from a forum dedicated to this character. As someone who is very obsessed with accuracy I have to say that for the most part I am very impressed. The helmet design does have a very high level of accuracy. There are however a few things that I feel could be improved slightly for accuracy and ease of building. - The pivot point is not actually lined up to where the indent is. This means that if you are wanting to install a genuine 3M speedglass bolt, it will not be functional. This is a tad disappointing because it would be nice to have the option to use the genuine bolt. - I understand that designers add their names to their models to reduce theft, but having a huge name on the inside of the helmet not only adds additional print time, but makes it difficult to work around when adding helmet internals. I would like to see a more subtle logo or something that isn't as intrusive. - The visor is slightly thick on the front edge. The original helmets were vacuumed formed plastic which means they were overall quite thin. I understand 3D printing needs a bit more bulk to be printable but a bit of a reduction in thickness on the front would add accuracy. - The visor and face are put together using diamond shaped keys. These work well, but the keys are way too long. This requires a lot of stretching of the visor to get it to fit in place which ups the chances of cracking. These are alignment only so they don't need to be more than a few millimetres. Making them smaller would also reduce the need for thin supports. - The lack of snout greeblies is a tad disappointing. This designer should be able to work with someone from the 501st to include accurate replica snout and 3M greeblies. - The forehead on the original had a slight curve to it whereas this helmet is flat. It is a subtle detail, but it would be a nice addition. Overall the helmet is very well designed. I had to use Cura supports and many of them failed, but it didn't have much of an effect on the final print. I think with a second round of scrutiny the details could be refined to be almost 100% accurate and a little easier to print/build, but overall I am impressed.

I'm not a very experienced printer, but the visor file is HUGE and my slicers stop responding when trying to manipulate that file. Overall, great model and hopefully I can cut the pieces to fit my Ender 3 PRO
