A barrel is a vessel of cylindrical or other form that can be rolled (unlike a tub) from one place to another and placed on the ends without additional supports intended for transportation and storage of liquid and other substances [1]. Barrels come in different shapes, but usually the base, top and section of the part of the barrel have a circular shape, with the diameter of the central part slightly larger than the diameter of the base and the top.
Previously, the barrels were made of rivets (special boards forming a side surface: the bottom and the lid were inserted into the slots-chimes selected by the chopper), which were tied up with wooden (more often, cherry) or with a metal hoop.
In the XX-XXI century barrels are made of various materials: plastics, metal and other. Bohemian craft exists even now: high-quality wines and grape / grain distillates (cognac, whiskey and the like) stand in wooden barrels.
