A large and precise version of the analemma shaped gnomon or pointer for a sundial that can be used for building a large DIY outsidde sundial - the pointer is shaped like the appearent path of the sun in the sky to correct for the earths orbital eccentricity and axial tilt - the shape was geometrically stretched by pushing the y-axis through a tangens function in order to turn it into a straight geometric shape that matches the analemma when projected from the timescales perspective the model was designed to be printed in two pieces and glued together while being supported by a steel wire going through the central tube - can be scaled up and down freely and with the right steel wire or rod hung added to a large sundial design https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Analemma
