DESCRIPTION

An aerodynamics model of the Space-X Falcon Heavy rocket I made before it's first testflight to run some aerodynamics simulations on it - the model is full scale but can be printed by most 3d-printers if scaled down. Dimensions and details match version testlaunched in 2018 except for the gridfins which were executed as simple blocks with extreme surface roughness added in the simulation -the model can be printed quite well in two parts with an average printer and due to the falcons narrow shape doesn't even take all too long even at an impressive height
