CAC Boomerang - Australian single-seat fighter during the Second World War. It was a monoplane of mixed design with a closed cockpit, retractable landing gear and a tail wheel. Designed at the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation (CAC) design bureau under the direction of Lawrence Wackett. It was converted into a fighter based on the CAC Wirraway multipurpose aircraft - a licensed copy of the American NA-16 trainer aircraft. The prototype aircraft did not exist. The production aircraft made its first flight on May 29, 1942. Mass production at the CAC plant in Fisherman's Band began in July of that year.
Printed 3D model of one of the most famous aircraft of the Second World War.
