Kh-47M2 Kinzhal 3D model

Kh-47M2 Kinzhal (Cyrillic X in the index, in russian Кинжал ; NATO code name AS -24 Killjoy ) is a Russian aeroballistic missile capable of carrying a nuclear charge. After successful tests, the complex was put into service and on December 1, 2017, it went on combat duty at the airfields of the Southern Military District.

The missile was probably created on the basis of the 9K720 Iskander-M. Often referred to as a hypersonic missile system, which is not entirely correct, because although almost all ballistic missiles reach hypersonic speeds at certain stages of flight, this system is neither a hypersonic glider nor a hypersonic cruise missile.
