I designed this system as part of the exercise I use to teach the Machine Element Design Tools (Design Accelerator Module) in my Inventor courses. The gearbox design is a little bit overkill, but the idea was to have all the types of gears in one place to explain them all together. You can check the calculations on every component and observe that they comply. The gearbox case is simplified as its design wasn’t an important part of the course. To animate the gears, go to the browser and expand “Shaft 13” and drive the constraint called: “ROTATION DRIVER”. I hope someone find this usefull.
