Our world is filled with a staggering variety of strange and beautiful mythical creatures. Their deep uniqueness makes the task of discovering them so fascinating. And yet, it is even more fascinating to discover that there is one mythical creature that seems to be truly universal. Every culture that lives near deep, inky water has seen monstrous Sea Serpents rise from the inscrutible depths. And unlike many mythical creatures, the Sea Serpents have not disappeared in modern times. Science has not disproven the strange tales of deep monsters, but revitalized them. Where people once saw water spirits and sea monster, now they are prehistoric beasts that survived for eons veiled in the depths. One of the most intriguing and terrifying affirmations of our primordial legends is known simply as The Bloop. The Bloop was an incredibly loud underwater sound detected by sea scientists in the 1990s, speculated to be something akin to a whalesong, uttered by some enormous sea creature. But the creature that made The Bloop would have to many times larger than a Blue Whale to account for the volume that was recorded. If The Bloop is real, it's not a confirmation of some mere serpent, but of the most outrageous creatures of our mythologies, a modern day Jormungand, Ketus or Leviathan, recorded not in ancient texts, but by the devices of modern science.
The title loincloth is not included. Backgrounds and props are by Synty, RogCG, BitGem and Maxbugor.
