Both varieties have clean topology and are UV unwrapped with non-overlapping islands. They share the same UV layout, so any textures you create for one version will work when applied to the other! The UV layout can be seen in the preview images.
The lowpoly version is designed to work with subdivision, so it is ideal for use as a game asset. See the included preview image (labeled NO SUBDIV vs 1 LEVEL SUBDIV) to see what the lowpoly version looks like with subdivision applied.
RIGGING:The armature contains 148 bones: 18 per tentacle and 4 in the face and head. In addition to the bone groups, other parts of the body are assigned into vertex groups for easy access.
