The Flight Design CT is a family of high-wing, tricycle undercarriage, two seat ultralight and light-sport aircraft produced by Flight Design (Flightdesign Vertrieb) of Germany. This model is native to Cinema 4D and is offered in a high resolution model. High resolution is given a subdivision factor of 2 for all other programs excluding C4D with textures baked appropriately for it's poly count.
For C4D and the High Res model the cockpit has completely functional and adjustable moving components for instruments perfect for training or manipulation, while the low resolution is a simplified image of a cockpit perfect for distant renders.
The model is built entirely of quads. Just enable subdivision rendering and a sharp attractive model will be ready for stills or your favorite animation. The cockpit has sharp and adjustable switches and knobs if the desire is to place this into an animation.
Movable detailed parts include: Canopy, flight stick, rudder pedals, throttle, on/off switches, radio knobs, transponder knobs, flaps, aileron, elevator , rudder, nose wheel castor assembly, and propeller. A mixture of textures and materials were used for best visual. All textures are 4K or better resolution (but not to exceed 8K limit for some applications).
Rigged for use in Cinema 4D ONLY. Now using Xpresso simple rigged controls with sliders to easier animate flight controls. A great amount of time has been taken to insure good looking strobes, landing lights, nav lights, control surface deflections, along with flight control deflections will make your animation look great with little effort. Video of how to use the rigged model are included in the C4D zip file.
File Types include: C4D (Native), DAE, MAX, 3DS, FBX, Blender, and OBJNOTE: This is a C4D Native model, High Res model has subdivision render factor of 2.
