3D Model De Havilland DH 2 Fighter Aircraft (20th Century, English, 1916) Royal Flying Corps No 24 Squadron, flown by Lt. D.H. Geary by POITRA Visual (Textured 3D Model). This historical aircraft made a significant contribution to the Allied cause on the WWI western front in 1916. It helped end Germany's dominance of the skies using the Fokker Eindecker. Painted and marked as western front aircraft DH.2 7850, allocated to No. 24 Squadron on June 30, 1916, shot down by German anti-aircraft fire on July 3, 1916. The aircraft belonged to Lt. D.H. Geary, Royal Flying Corps. Geary was killed. The aircraft is fitted with the four bladed, doped cotton protected propeller, the angular compass fairing, and upper wing mounted auxullary fuel tank.
