HMS Granado was sailing ketch built in 1742. It was given the classification 'bomb vessel' for the twin seige mortars it carried fore and aft of it's mainmast. Granado had a long career and most famously captured the French privateer 'Marianne' in 1746. At the end of it's service, it was sold off and lived on as a whaler vessel.
