World Trade Center Transportation Hub Oculus 3D model

This 3D model of the World Trade Center Transportation Hub Oculus, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava and engineered by Skanska, is a high-fidelity representation of the real-life structure. The model is based on official documentation, ranging from architectural drawings, engineering schematics, and geometric references to key elements. Each element of the Oculus superstructure, composed of a portal, sub-portal, transition element, and rafter, is based on a geo-referenced spreadsheet that locates each critical point in a three-dimensional space, creating a model that is more accurate, precise and rightly located than the physical iteration. This model is a product of several years of research and pain-staking modeling.
