Description

A set of decorative Christmas and New Year paper stars - IKEA Stråla. The patterns on the stars are all modeled (no opacity masks), so the models can be used even without materials, or with your own ones. The model was created in 3D Studio Max 2022 and also saved as FBX, OBJ, and Max 2021-2019 files. There is only one single bitmap texture used on one of the stars - 'red stars.jpg'. Just save it to the same folder with the downloaded .max file. The models are all UV unwrapped, so any additional textures can be used. The file contains CoronaLights for each star which can be turned off or on. No additional plugins are needed or have been used. The images were rendered with Corona 9 using CoronaPhysicalMtl.

IKEA Stråla paper decorative stars are a cheap and very elegant and cosy solution for your festive mood interiors such as Christmas or New Year's Eve holidays bedroom or kids room, but they can also be used on any other occasion as a bright warm decoration.

I will soon make a version of these stars with opacity masks and no heavy geometry, because this version is somewhat high-poly, but doesn't require fiddling with the textures in any application.
