Having recently moved from California to Virginia, I was excited to really see snow again for the first time in 4 years. I started making this before it began to snow here and now it’s finished just in time for the snow to start sticking. A great project with a nice result. Finding ways to mimic real snow fall and how it gathers was a tricky topic and I’m sure that this result doesn’t fool anyone who gives it more than a passing glance, but it’s getting there. I can’t wait to see if next year with advancement in skill and technology I could actually get a photorealistic render of this scene.
