A continuation of my "Dark Moon" project. I aimed at making a belivable alien planet or moon, such as the real life moon "Titan".
The stars & galaxies environment background was completely generated using nodes in the Blender shader editor. I used a mix of musgrave and magic texture nodes for the galaxies and the stars are just highly clamped large-scaled noise texture with a variety of emission values. Everything was made in Blender, except for minor adjustments in Photoshop.
