The Red Baron - Nissan Skyline -72

The Red Baron - Nissan Skyline -72. This was my submission for the Humster 3D Legendary Car Competition (http://humster3d.com/2014/12/10/legendary-car-competition-winners/). It didn´t win the big prizes but got the team choice award. There were 94 awesome contenders.

I wanted to create my childhood dream car. I remember when I was about 7 I saw a poster with this car on it. Now 15 years later I wanted to create that same scene like I remember it. It was a very fun project to work with and I learnt a lot. I used a month for this and only worked on weekends. Final results took 10 hours to render with my old dual core CPU (E8500). Modeling in 3ds max, rendering with V-ray, post process and texturing in Photoshop.
