This prop is my celebration of the Stargate fandom. This is inspired plastic model kit of the Naquadah Generator. It is my own fan-based design, created as a model kit for fans to enjoy. This is not official MGM merchandise; it took me 6 months to design the kit.
This digital download includes:
1) All the digital STL files to print the Naquadah Generator on a 3D printer.
2) Detailed step-by-step manual for building the model and additional information about the electronics.
3) Decal files you can print.
4) Software to power the electronics
The Naquadah Generator is big. It is approximately 20 inches in length (508mm), 15 inches (381mm) with retraced Power Globes, 6 inches (152mm) wide and 8 inches(200mm) in height.
When built, the Naquadah Generator has the following functions:
• Working control handle mechanism, designed to emulate the TV show.
• Retractable Power Globes (they slide in and out)
• Working magnetic hatches on each side of the Naquadah Generator.
• Designed to accommodate working electronics including rotating control lights, light up reactor arms.
• Custom designed display stand to display your model - inspired by the gate room architecture.
• Fully detailed manual with step by step instructions for building your model. Manual includes my custom electronic circuit diagram and software to power the lighting effects.
• Control handle lighting effects including control cone activation status (red and green indicators), rotating blue light effects and glowing reactor arm lights.
• Electronics designed with a battery compartment to power the model; no external power supply needed.
• Working time, 25+ hours continuous using 4 AA batteries.
I hope you enjoy making your own model kit. Please note that you can print as many as you want for personal use, for any commercial prints (paid for prints), please contact me first for permission.
