Realistic Watch Render – Work Description
Objective
To create a high-quality, photorealistic 3D render of a wristwatch, showcasing intricate details, materials, lighting, and reflections to achieve a premium, luxury look.
Scope of Work
1. Modeling
High-poly modeling of the watch case, dial, hands, crown, bezel, and strap.
Accurate proportions based on reference images or provided technical drawings.
Detailing (e.g., engravings, branding, screws, ridges, or embossed elements).
2. Texturing & Shading
Material realism:
Stainless steel, gold, titanium, or other metals with realistic reflections and surface imperfections.
Sapphire or mineral glass with accurate refraction and slight smudges for realism.
Leather, rubber, or metal straps with correct textures and roughness.
Micro-details: Brushed metal, polished surfaces, scratches, fingerprints, and dust (if needed for realism).
3. Lighting & Rendering
Studio lighting setup for soft reflections and highlights.
HDRI-based lighting for realistic environmental reflections.
Multiple angles/render passes:
Close-up macro shots for details (e.g., dial engravings, crown, bezel).
Hero shots with shallow depth of field for a cinematic effect.
Exploded view (if needed) to showcase internal mechanics.
4. Post-Processing (Optional)
Color grading, sharpness, and contrast adjustments.
Minor touch-ups to remove noise and enhance realism.
Deliverables
Final Rendered Images (4K/8K resolution, transparent background if required).
Clay Renders (if needed for presentation).
Short Animation (optional) showcasing the watch in motion.
Software Used
Blender (for modeling, texturing, and rendering).
Photoshop (for post-processing, if needed).
Substance Painter (for advanced texturing, if required).
Would you like a specific style—luxury, sports, or vintage? Also, do you need animations or just still renders?
