Qishla is an irregular quadrangular shape that tends to elongate where the largest rib is located to the south
It has four defensive towers in its four corners and an open space in the center of a circular building called the Kasbah (very similar to the Nubian House of Happiness) consisting of five floors built of stone. It consists of two floors in the southern ribs and parts of the east and west. The remaining parts of the eastern and western sides and the north side consist of three floors. The third floor was the headquarters of the leaders and a council of the Imam and his leaders, and the Qishla only one entrance in the southern side and another rear entrance in the south in the form of a crypt to the well of the mosque of Sabeeh located near Qashleh as a secret exit that provides the need of the castle for water and supplies at the time of need. .
