My renderings of the medieval London bridge. Originally created in the hope to have featured within a dedicated museum showing the 800 year history of the original site of London bridge. I have also created a full HD stereoscopic animation, (WIP) where you travel down the 1000 feet bridge.
Based on my work I had produced for the London bridge museum I had designed a 3D board game based on the Medieval London bridge. This presentation better describes the concept of being educational and fun encouraging children to want to play around the table with their parents and grand parents. By incorporating fun apps that interact with the game. For instance, an app allowing siblings to load up each others faces enabling each to throw rotten fruit and veg at one another shown on the app locked in stocks.
I originally wanted to create something in my 3D world that wasn't a shoot them up kind of game. I'm fascinated with history, very important to know where the human race has come from and how we can make the world a better place.
So, I came up with the idea to create something historical that does no longer exist, not even some crumbling old rocks. I came up with the perfect vision of building the old London bridge from Medieval times. Bearing in mind this was one of only 3 to my knowledge and the grandest habited bridge in the world.
OK, I'm aware there's a massive amount of competition out there. Surely, the aim to produce a great board game in an actual 3D build with 3D apps for the kids glued to their phones might just get them to engage in a bit of history along with actually wanting to play on occasions with their parents and grand parents instead of shutting themselves away in their rooms on social media.
