Nodevember 2020 was a bust for me. I tried so so so hard to get it done, but I was swamped. I just could not get it done... I am however SUPER proud of this render I did one Saturday or Sunday morning. I just remember it was on the weekend, hehe, and in the morning. I was already behind and wanted to take on day 5 of the prompt and wanted to push myself to do something I don't normally do, realism. I don't think I got it 100%, but I adore the result! Hope you do too! :D
A little technical info.
I used my special DOF nodegroup, because it just gives that extra punch. I also LOVE adding a little sharpness back after giving the image a soft glow. It allows it to still be sharp, while glowing and I love that little edge that already sharp objects get.
As for realism, I tried to make the wood feel as real as possible and for the lemons, I focused on getting the skin to show those bubbles, using a Voronoi texture. Obviously, I used displacement to differentiate the lemons, different positions and a cloud texture to add some green spots. Overall, I LOVE it, not super realistic, but also not NPR. hehe. A beautiful finish though! :D
Blessings!
