All that remains of the Khufu mortuary temple is basalt pavement and sockets for the granite pillars. Temple have had a vast, open, pillared courtyard which was covered with basalt paving stones.
Toward the pyramid were three rows of pillars which led to the decorated sanctuary portal. The courtyard columns are adorned with seated Khufu bas-reliefs and his royal names Horus Medjedu, king of Two Lands Khufu, Nebty Medjeder, Bikui Nebu (Horus Who has been adhered to, king of Two Lands Khufu, of two Goddesses Who has adhered to, The golden double falcon).
Inner sanctuary is decorated with blue faience tiles (like underground section of Djoser pyramid) together with three Khufu standing statues inserted into three niches covered with hieroglyphs.
Additionally west of the courtyard, along with various storage annexes these was main an exit toward Khufu pyramid. The reconstruction of the Khufu mortuary temple is hypothetical and based upon relevant archeological literature.
