Hey all!
This is a project I did yesterday and I loved every second of it - even though I was racing against the clock, hehe.
Basically, this is a stepping stone projects, but I really wanted to share it with you guys, since it came out so well!!! Hope you love it!
Next, I'd love to do a short film with it!!
A little more info:
1) Final result
2) Original photo (major reduction in size)
3) Scene in Blender
The clay is not to be taken at face value. There are only two shadow catchers. The table/credenza and the floor. Everything else is there just to cast shadows, should he cross into one - which he did - check his hand and the AO underneath him and his hand.
4) Experiment result
The previous attempt. Basically, all I did was follow the LORD's leading to give something specific a shot - smooth shadows with toon shading, just like my old tutorial:

Basically, Eevee can now do this, because it uses something called Collections and ViewLayers. Some have confused ViewLayers with scenes, which I get, but no, they are like the old render layers we had up to 2.79, but much much more effective.
So yeah, there you go - solid real life integration using a realtime render engine, hehe. Guess that shouldn't be surprising, considering what Unity, Unreal and the others have shown in their demos, hehehe.

Hope you have a super day!
GOD bless you!!
