In good company

This is a commission work showing a C-17 Globemaster transporter accompanied by a pair of F-15 fighters from Bitburg airbase. They have met somewhere over the Rhine river on a nightly transport mission.

Many hours of painting and research went into this, as the planes from this era had to be labeled historically correct.

I didn't have much reference night clouds, so I did most from my imagination.
