This is a 3D model of a manipulator of 5 ton or 5000kg rotational capacity. It can be used in welding automation/ robotic welding application.
It is mainly consisting of - a headstock, a tailstock and a resting frame. The headstock is fixed at one end of the frame. It has a gear and pinion arrangement for rotation of the faceplate. the pinion is mounted on a reduction gearbox and a AC induction motor (can be fitted with AC servomotor if customer opts for).
The faceplate of the tailstock will rotate at a same speed as that of the headstock. The distance between the headstock & tailstock can be adjusted. Here the tailstock is linearly movable using a rack and motorized pinion arrangement.
The machined frame has to be grouted on the shop floor.
The detailed drawings of this setup will be provided to the client afterwards.
