For the past few weeks, we have been working on this gigantic beast Godzilla. We tried to capture the essence of its massiveness through detailed sculpting. Its body has all sorts of variations. Rock-hard skin, huge glaring spikes, a long tail, and ferocious nails to attack including a set of gills to go underwater.
Texturing a creature this huge has been a challenge to achieve. It took a generous amount of research to make the texture as realistic as possible. The attack mode Godzilla (blue variation) was the main inspiration for this project and also a fun part to accomplish.
Tweaking render settings till the last minute of posting is a never-ending process. Sometimes we miss major flaws. Let us know if you see any. There is always room for improvement.
