We are glad to share the game-ready character 'Druid' with you all. Planning the character before moving to the software is a crucial step. The character comes alive pixel by pixel through collecting references, creating mood boards, and sketching. We build everything from scratch by designing 2D concepts and then moved onto sculpting realistic models, texturing, look development, and finally, the renders. We followed a principled gaming pipeline philosophy for the character. For this, We created the hair using hair cards. Although this process was time-consuming but makes the character more viable for use in games.
To make the character robust, we design his right-hand demonic to make it visually appealing. We tried to portray a calm and authoritative persona so we gave him a stick with a little bell instead of any deadly weapons. Throughout the project, realism was our key focus. We sincerely hope that everyone enjoys the character just as much as we enjoyed creating it!
