This was a commission from a client who wanted to redo a few scenes from the Half Life 2 video game with original (but updated) textures in place. I designed the barrel to be low or high poly at the needs of the client (using subdivisions) as well as have custom texture-maps based off the original 512x512 textures used in the game. This was quite a tricky one to achieve but I was able to get a really nice outcome! The barrel also has full physics within the Unreal Engine suite as well.
