Brave New World - 3D Matte Painting

A 3D matte painting from the “Vortex” concept & screenplay – Based on the classical philosophical debate whether technology improves human condition or worsens it, we explore a society which has advanced enough to gain a mastery over the means of travel, communication, medicine, etc only to be still ruled by powers bringing a strong social stratification within, resulting into a repressive and controlled dystopian existence. It was founded on the notion of having a “Good Life”, but soon dreams were overshadowed by fears from the consequences of current & futuristic behavior.
