I have been reliably informed that not everyone likes horrible grotesque monsters dredged from the depths of my subconscious and that I should try something cute hence Bartholomew here wink
He is sculpted in Zbrush, re-topologized using quad draw in Maya to animation ready, I think, UVs in 3ds max [because i am trying to get into Maya more, but I am used to UVing in max and have some pluggins to make it easier wink] Normal and displacement maps are produced from Zbrush. The paint is hand done in Zbrush and then exported to Mari to produce the additional maps [spec, roughness and SSS weight].
The final image is rendered in Arnold for Maya using the Flipped Normal’s lighting scene free sample available here [https://flippednormals.com/downloads/flippednormals-lighting-scenes-free/] - [really need to brush up on lighting in Maya]
Please let me know what you think smiley
