Architectural Modeling Sample Home

The house I designed here is a 3700 sf, 2-1/2 story single family dwelling. It features an attached 560 sf ADU (Accessory Dwelling Unit), and 470 sf of livable attic space, an attached 720 sf garage, and 500 sf of outdoor porch & deck space. Though never built, this home was designed to fit a site in Southwest Portland, OR. The project illustrates internal building systems and define framing members based on structural engineering calculations. Designs adhere to all applicable building code, zoning code, and energy code in the area. Software used to produce these plans include AutoCAD 2013, iLevel Forte, and Google Sketchup.
