Al-Qadu

Al-Qadu is an earthenware jar filled with water, with a tube usually made of reed sticks. A conical clay head is placed on top, where tobacco is placed. Al-Qadu is a traditional smoking device native to the Gulf region, and it became widespread in this area due to the availability of its materials. Meanwhile, other variations, such as the "narghile" (hookah), emerged in regions outside the Gulf.
